How to Play Face Up Pai Gow Poker

1. Place Your Bet: To begin, each player places a bet.
2. The Deal: Both you and the dealer receive seven cards dealt face up.
3. Set Your Hands: In Face Up Pai Gow, your goal is to create two poker hands from your seven cards:
   • A five-card “high” hand
   • A two-card “low” hand
     Your high hand must rank higher than your low hand. The two-card hand typically features high pairs, while the five-card hand aligns with standard poker rankings.
4. Compare Hands with the Dealer: After setting your hands, the dealer’s hands are compared to yours:
   • Win both hands: You win your bet.
   • Win one, lose one: It’s a push; your bet is returned.
   • Lose both hands: You lose your bet.
5. House Advantage (House Way): The dealer follows a preset strategy, known as the “house way,” for setting hands. This transparent play style helps players adjust their strategies, adding a unique edge to the game.

How to play

HOW TO PLAY CRAPS 

Craps is all about the roll of the dice.

To start, players place their bets on the “Pass line” or “Don’t Pass line.” This determines whether they will win or lose with the first roll of the dice (known as the come-out roll). A 7 or 11 on the come-out roll means that those who bet on the Pass line win, while a 2, 3, or 12 means those who bet on the Don’t Pass line win.

If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 is rolled on the come-out roll, that number becomes the “point.” This means that players who bet on the Pass line will try to roll that same number again before rolling a 7, while those who bet on the Don’t Pass line will try to roll a 7 before rolling the point again.

Other bets can also be made during a round of craps, including specific numbers being rolled or combinations of numbers. These bets can be made at any time during the game, even when it’s not your turn to roll the dice.

The Play wager has to be at least equal to the Ante but may be up to three times the Ante. It’s your four-card poker hand against the dealer’s four-card poker hand - best hand wins! The Ante and Play bets pay even money.
